She Stuffed Frozen Dinner Rolls With THIS Then Put Them In The CAST-IRON SKILLET! 20 Minutes Later? OMG!


Your first reaction to frozen dinner rolls is probably to turn your nose away in distaste or wonder if a food could be any more boring.

Well, you’re not wrong to think so, but there’s also a way to make them really exciting!

Diane from the blog, Recipes For Our Daily Bread, shared how she used the frozen, boring dough to create stuffed parmesan rolls that are out of this world good!

“These stuffed parmesan rolls are even better than garlic bread because they have a surprise in the middle,” Diane wrote. “When you bite into one, you will find warm, gooey, stringy mozzarella cheese in the center.”

There’s nothing to hate about this yummy dinner side, and they incredibly easy to make!

Diane started the recipe by thawing her frozen rolls and leaving them to rise for about one hour. (Don’t worry, they’ll have time to rise more later on).

After that, she cut up a block of mozzarella cheese into little cubes and stuffed the roll dough with the pieces.



Once all the rolls were stuffed, Diane greased her cast-iron skillet and placed the stuffed dough balls inside, separating them an inch or two from each other.

Again, she let the dough sit and rise for at least two more hours or until the rolls had doubled in size.


When they had risen enough, Diane made a mixture of butter and garlic and generously spread it onto the rolls, making sure each one was covered with a good amount.

The last step before putting them into the oven to bake was to sprinkle the tops with parmesan cheese .

Then, the delicious bread went into the oven to bake for about 20 minutes until the rolls were fluffy and golden brown.

After taking them out of the oven, she brushed the tops with the leftover garlic butter and enjoyed!


These are such a yummy treat to serve with spaghetti night, a baked chicken dish… really whenever you want!
